We (Hi-Comm EduCare Fair 2010) would like to invite all students for an Open Interview Session for the recruitment of committee for EduCare Fair 2010 which will be held February 2010.

We would like to have dedicated and committed individuals for the following divisions :-

1. Technical and Logistic
2. Sponsorship
3. Special task
4. Publicity
5. Security
6. Marketing and Protocol

Date : 12th November 2009 (Thursday)
Time : 8.00 pm to 10.30 pm
Venue : Sri Ruby Seminar Room

Counseling Unit would like to share; tips given by internet millionaire, Dr Irfan Khairi during his sharing in one of the slot at "Karnival Keusahawanan Politeknik Merlimau Melaka 2009" about internet & money.

How u can make money (become millionaire) through internet?!...

Main tips:
We should have a list of as below:
1) product/service (s)
2) website/blog
3) account payable
4) promotion

Through website, research shown first 8 seconds are the most crucial time to attract visitors to become buyers;
1) Impressive introduction by
- telling the goodness of your products/services
- giving a question/ creating worriness
- numbering your sequence/ figure
- state your target group

2) Picture of you (as administrator/moderator)
3) Picture of happiness people
4) Story mode in telling something
5) "Calls for Action!"
6) In addition, testimonial of users would help faster!

Example of story mode as he shared about;
There are 3 mens;who are selling product, juice drink and they could make a wish each for start their business. 1st man wishes for the most strategic place in the world to market his product. 2nd man wishes for the most perfectionist juice ever in the world. Said Dr Irfan, to become successful entrepreneur, here's the secret. The third man wishes for thirsty people. That's what we called demands!

Peer Counselor Board Training Program

Assalamu'alaikum wbt & Good Day

Counseling Unit would like to invite all MMU's students that interested & committed towards become a better person in helping others; by joining us, in program called Peer Counselor Board.

Those familiar with Faci Team (a group facilitator) may ask what's the different between those two?

Here's brief ideas of this program; objective to be achieved, input as planned & output to contribute.

Objective of this program
1) to promote basic helping skills in managing life of self & others
2) as an agent to Counseling Unit in promoting counseling as a way to manage life well
3)in helping self to help others

Input
1) Selection of participants through interview & inventory tests
2) Training program
3) Follow-up group
4) Graduation

Output:
1) a better way to help others, especially your peers.
2) counseling is a method to overcome issues in life
3) role model to others.

Those interested, please get and submit the application form in Counselling Unit at 2nd Floor, Plaza Siswa before or on 18th June 2010.
